I agree that it would be better if the word were pronounced again when the student touched it, if not each fish as they touched it, at least the bubble word so they could hear it again. Otherwise its just a visual matching exercise and doesnt necessarily help them learn to read the word. I also wonder if it would be better if the fish swam the other direction, so the words would be revealed left to right rather than right to left?
